• Home Zoo - Our whole animal family can be met directly in the hotel area. She-camel Kleopatra coming from Tibetan plains, donkey couple Ezop and Sara misted up by legends, with their children Bara and Klara, or German shepherd Grey will warmly greet you. Use the opportunity to take pictures of your children with our animal family, or walk with our she-camel Klea.

• Excursion to Karlstejn Castle - Karlstejn Castle, which was founded in year 1348, has a unique status among Czech castles. It was built by Czech King and Roman Emperor Charles IV as a place for safekeeping of the royal treasures, especially Charles's collection of holy relics and the coronation jewels of the Roman Empire.

• Golf Resort Karlstejn - 27 hole golf course Karlstejn, located in close vicinity of Romantic hotel Mlyn Karlstejn, offers its services not only to professional players but also to beginners, who can rent there complete equipment or hire a professional golf instructor.

• Horse Rides - In close vicinity of hotel is possible to take short horse riding lecture, or whole riding course. More experienced riders can enjoy rides, or whole day trips to beautiful nature of Czech Karst.

• Cyclists welcome - The new cycle path running from the “Dobrochovicke lavky” (appropriate path from the train station) around the castle, into “Lety” and then across the “Lotovsky most” to “Revnicka lavka” (and back to the station) has practically no elevation. The path runs mostly along the river “Berounka”. Who doesn´t have enough, can continue to one side in the direction of Karlstejn to Beroun and the second to “Vsenory, Cernosice, Radotin” and Prague. There is the possibility to turn to into “Karlik” castle, “Morina” or “brdske hvozdy”.

• Watermen Educational Trail - The track of educational trail Berounka is provided by river Berounka, which is primarily used by watermen. It starts on west boarder of nature reserve Krivoklatsko and ends on east boarder of nature reserve Czech Karst. Among stops of the educational trail belong for example Tetin rocks with castle ruins, or calcite quarry Alkazar near primeval settlement Kozel, Budnanska rock in Karsltejn, or traditional village Hlasna Treban.

• Wine Harvest Festival - Wine Harvest Festival at Karlštejn is taking place regularly each September. Authentic ceremonial procession in gothic costumes, led by the King Charles IV and his spouse Elizabeth of Pomeranian, will take you back to the 14th century. Tasting of wine, stum and cuisine specialties, period stands with demonstration of traditional crafts, performances of swordsmen, jugglers and pipers, historical dance lessons and night fire show await you.

• Koneprusy Caves - Koneprusy Caves are accessible to public from year 1959 and offer its visitors almost one hour visit of two cave floors, which were created by water activity in calcite approximately 400 million year old. The excursion trail leads through several domes with stalagmite decoration, and ends in higher cave floor, where in was located 15th century money counterfeit workshop. Each visitor welcomes the possibility to see the other local remarkable sites, among which belongs Aksamit Gates or Jellinek’s Bridge.

It all starts at Zvíkovec, where you can rent a boat and enjoy 13 unique stops. One of the most interesting is Tetín’s rocks, which is a natural reservation with amazing rock walls. This place is very popular among Czech rock climbers. Another wonderful place to visit is the Alkazar quarry. And we do not need write here in large about the beauty and significance of the Castle Karlštejn, which is the next stop.
