Restaurant Krčma U Ezopa is located next to the medieval castle Karlštejn, only 20 km from the center of Prague. It is easily reachable not only by car, but also by train directly from Prague main station. When coming from Karlštejn train station you cannot miss it. The restaurant is an ideal place to begin your tour to Karlštejn castle or its surroundings. You can stop by for short refreshment during your cycle trip ,or watermen journey on river Berounka.

Beside typical Czech cuisine and Karlštejn specialties, Krčma U Ezopa offers also excellent beer. You are welcome to enjoy it on sunny terrace during summer or in pleasant interior during winter, where you appreciate warmth and specific atmosphere of the restaurant, complemented by stylish fireplace.      

Krčma U Ezopa will firstly greet you with its rustic exterior. Through the roof windows, from the painting of the academic painter Svatopluk Sulek, is looking into the landscape Pope John Paul II together with Pablo Picasso, surrounded with noble look of camel and kind donkey face.

If you are lucky, you can meet around the restaurant real donkey Ezop, which lives with three donkey ladies and beautiful camel lady Klea, in near area of the Romantic hotel Mlýn.
